Campus Property Management was founded in 1967 by Champaign resident and University of Illinois alumnus Erwin Goldfarb. Recognizing the need for expanded housing around the University, Erwin decided to start his own leasing company. Starting off with just one building, Erwin took pride in providing the best customer service to his tenants even going so far as to lay carpet and painting apartments himself! Growing steadily through the years, the company built its first building from start to finish in 1983 and officially became Campus Property Management in 1988. Since those early years, CPM has grown to include 1,850 apartments which are home to 4,500 tenants each year! As our business continues to grow, we remain committed to our core values of integrity, commitment, innovation, opportunity and service.
